


Islamabad: A prestigious dinner was organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad in honor of the newly elected cabinet of the National Press Club, which was attended by the newly elected office-bearers of the Press Club.
The delegation, led by President of the National Press Club Abdul Razzaq Siyal, included Secretary General Furqan Rao, Secretary Dr. Furqan Rao, Finance Secretary Abid Abbasi, Vice President Ehtisham-ul-Haq, Joint Secretary Shakila Jalil, Governing Body Members Tanvir Shahzad, Farah Rabbani, Asim Jillani, and Jamal Abdullah.
Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad, Nasrullah Randhawa, welcomed the delegation and congratulated the newly elected cabinet. On this occasion, he stated that journalism is a vital pillar of the state, and a strong, free, and responsible media alone can create true awareness in society.
Nasrullah Randhawa said that mutual cooperation is a crucial need of the time, and Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad and the Press Club should jointly raise their voice to resolve the issues facing the capital. He said that all stakeholders must unite and take practical steps to solve the problems confronting Islamabad.
He also expressed his commitment to further fostering positive and strong relations with the journalist community so that public issues can be highlighted effectively. Officials of Jamaat-e-Islami were also present on the occasion.
