Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan is a comprehensive Islamic, ideological, social, and political movement founded by Syed Abul A‘la Maududi (رحمہ اللہ) on 26 August 1941. The movement aims to establish a society based on the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, ensuring justice, morality, and welfare for all.
Jamaat-e-Islami believes that:
- Sovereignty belongs to Allah alone
- Islam provides a complete code of life
- The Islamic system ensures social justice, economic balance, and moral governance
