Central Funeral Prayer in Absentia for Martyr Syed Ali Khamenei Offered at Jamia Masjid Al-Furqan

The central funeral prayer in absentia for Martyr Syed Ali Khamenei was offered at Jamia Masjid Al-Furqan, I-8, Islamabad, in an atmosphere of immense devotion, respect, and pathos. The funeral prayer was led by Naib Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Mian Muhammad Aslam, while a large number of scholars from various schools of thought, political leaders, and citizens, including Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad Nasrullah Randhawa, participated and expressed their profound love for the martyr.

Addressing the gathering after the funeral prayer, Mian Muhammad Aslam said that they pay rich tribute to the resilience, courage, and resistance of Ayatollah Khamenei. He prayed that Allah Almighty accepts his great struggle, unwavering steadfastness, and martyrdom. He said that the gaze of a dignified Muslim is always fixed on Allah Almighty, and such great personalities, even after departing physically, live forever in the annals of history.

Speaking on the occasion, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad Nasrullah Randhawa said that he (Khamenei) dedicated his 86 years of life to his nation and his country. Despite his old age, he stood firm in the arena with determination and courage. His martyrdom is a clear and unequivocal message for those with weak faith that true martyrdom is not achieved in a life of slavery.

At the end, a special prayer was offered for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and the victory of oppressed Muslims, while the participants reaffirmed their commitment to continue the martyr’s mission.
