20 Administrative Committees Formed; March to Begin from Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD, September 12, 2026 – A key meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Islamabad was held at the JI office in Melody under the chairmanship of JI Islamabad Ameer Nasrullah Randhawa to discuss and finalize preparations for the Islamabad March scheduled for September 20.

The meeting was attended by Secretary General Zubair Safdar, deputy ameers, and other responsible officials. It was decided to form 20 administrative committees to finalize arrangements for the march, while the initial meeting of the steering committee constituted for the march was also held.

March to Begin from Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi

The meeting decided that the march towards Islamabad will formally begin from Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi on September 20. The final announcement regarding the march route and the venue of the public gathering will be made on Tuesday.

The meeting also reviewed administrative and organizational matters to ensure the success of the march.
